Desiree Gruber is Modelinia’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder. Transforming her lifelong interests in fashion, culture, art, and entertainment into a diverse business portfolio, Gruber has redefined what a new media company can be.
Gruber’s career first took shape at Rogers & Cowan, a national public relations agency, where she rose to Vice President of Entertainment and managed various publicity and marketing accounts within the entertainment, music, fashion, and beauty industries while spearheading the overall growth of the firm’s New York office. Looking to create broad-based opportunities throughout all forms of media, Gruber established Full Picture in 1999, synergizing the traditionally separate fields of public relations, management, and production. Full Picture has since become a creative force and blossomed into a full-fledged multimedia company. Its many successes include the hit reality show Project Runway, MSN.com’s hip fashion and lifestyle series Style Studio, and the trendsetting HSN shopping show Curations. Gruber has also been instrumental in building some of the world’s most prestigious brands and industry leaders, including Victoria’s Secret, Ian Schrager Hotels, Chanel, Starr Restaurants, and Miramax, and guiding the careers of high-profile personalities ranging from Heidi Klum to Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 2009, she launched Modelinia.
Ms. Gruber has received a Peabody Award and four Emmy nominations for producing Project Runway, as well as over twenty media industry awards. She has been awarded an official Mayor’s Proclamation by the City of New York for her professional and civic accomplishments. She serves on the Chairman’s Council of the New-York Historical Society and on the Board of Directors of God’s Love We Deliver, an organization that delivers nutritious, freshly prepared meals to people living with HIV/AIDS or other serious illnesses. She is also a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization and Women in Communication.
Mitch Grossbach, Chief Revenue Officer, is responsible for monetization, business strategy and strategic business development initiatives. Previously, Grossbach was SVP of Sales and Partnerships for Ford Models, and general manager of Ford Models Digital Media. Grossbach brings 20 years of professional experience in sales and business development for AT&T, LANSystems and Interface Software. He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., and lives in Montclair, N.J. with his wife and children.
Liane Mullin, Chief Strategy Officer and Founder, develops and executes field marketing initiatives and special projects, as well as, overseeing the brand voice and tone across all platforms. She has a strong background of over 9 years of entertainment and lifestyle marketing experience. Mullin joined Modelinia from Full Picture, where she headed up the New Media division conceptualized and supervised the development of multiple web projects, managed strategic partnerships and integrated corporate companies into the virtual entertainment arena. Prior to joining Full Picture, Ms. Mullin worked for Creative Artists Agency under Managing Partner Bryan Lourd and Sony Pictures Entertainment. She graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison with a degree in Communication Arts.
Andrew Ockner is the Chief Financial Officer of Modelinia and is responsible for all financial operations of the Company, inclusding financial reporting, accounting and banking relationships. He brings over 7 years experience and expertise in corporate operations and management, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, contract analysis and auditing. Ockner is also currently the CFO of Modelinia’s sister company Full Picture, LLC. Prior to joining Modelinia, Ockner was Senior Director of Finance of SONY BMG Music where he was in charge of all aspects of financial management for the most profitable division of SONY BMG Music. Prior to SONY BMG Music, he worked in the audit division of KPMG. Ockner is a CPA and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in accounting and lives with his wife in New York City.
Eric Pederson is Modelinia’s Chief Technology Officer with responsibility for technology development and operations. Eric has 25 years of experience developing software and leading technology teams, spending the last ten years building consumer-facing internet sites for companies such as Conde Nast Publications and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Prior to the dot-com boom Eric was a software development manager at Airtouch Communications (now Verizon Wireless). He graduated from California State University Long Beach with a BS in Computer Science. Eric has two daughters and lives in New York City with his wife.
At the helm of Modelinia’s original video content is Vice President of Programming William Bass Fisher. Fisher’s digital media experience includes building and running the original video content model for Yahoo! Music and Launch.com; overseeing all programming and production for Paramount Digital Entertainment, Paramount.com and StarTrek.com; and responsibility for all business units of the HBO / AOL joint venture This Just In.com. Fisher has also created branded content and custom interactive-advertising for advertisers ranging from American Express, to Coke, Target, Intel, Best Buy, Lee Jeans and many other leading brands; and has created popular digital media content with a who’s who of leading film, TV and music stars.
Founders
Nicole Esposito, Executive Vice President, oversees the Public Relations departments in both New York and Los Angeles. Serving as a leader and a mentor for her staff at Full Picture, Ms. Esposito possesses a broad base of experience in marketing, public relations and event planning. She has managed and coordinated campaigns in numerous fields of entertainment including film, fashion, hospitality, and personal publicity for such high-profile clients as Ian Schrager Hotels, Frederic Fekkai, Karolina Kurkova, glaceau vitaminwater, Gran Centenario, Oz Garcia, The Recording Academy, Starr Restaurant Organizations, Related Residential and Dylan's Candy Bar. Ms. Esposito oversees all press surrounding the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, as well as various Victoria's Secret and Victoria's Secret Beauty initiatives throughout the year. Additionally, Ms. Esposito spearheaded the launches of The Hudson Hotel and 6 Columbus in New York, the Thompson Beverly Hills and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, and the Clift Hotel in San Francisco.
Ms. Esposito has managed special events for various clients in the fashion and publishing worlds including Warner Music Group, Louis Vuitton, InStyle, GQ Magazine, Christian Dior, CHANEL, Billabong, Marni, InStyle, Aveda, Mercedes-Benz and Givenchy. Ms. Esposito started her career freelancing for various fashion houses and PR agencies including CHANEL, Fragrance and Beauté and Tommy Hilfiger. Before joining Full Picture, Nicole worked under Ms. Gruber at Rogers & Cowan.
Ms. Esposito is a board member of the 10 O'clock Classics, a non profit organization devoted to bringing classical music to younger audiences and is a Friends Committee Board Member for New Yorkers for Children.
Jane Cha is Executive Vice President, Production for Full Picture. She has been with the company since its founding; she heads the Production Division and executive produces hit series Project Runway for Bravo. She has been spearheading the extension of many of Full Picture’s properties into new media platforms. Ms. Cha has managed award-winning marketing and public relations campaigns in numerous fields including film, fashion, music, corporate and personal publicity. Longtime clients include supermodel Heidi Klum and the Limited, Inc.’s Victoria’s Secret and its annual Fashion Show.
Prior to the founding of Full Picture, Ms. Cha was an executive at the Entertainment division of Rogers & Cowan. Prior to R&C, she was at Entertainment Tonight and at ABC. While studying political science at Harvard University, she worked on various political campaigns and produced the university’s annual sports fundraiser for PBS. She has also completed the creative writing program at Columbia University.
Hilla Narov, Modelinia Founder, heads Full Picture's Management Division, which works with clients such as Heidi Klum and model Riley Keough to generate creative and commercial opportunities in the worlds of fashion and entertainment. In March 2009, Ms. Narov oversaw a partnership between Full Picture and fashion authority Stefani Greenfield to launch CURATIONS with Stefani Greenfield on HSN. Through the venture with Greenfield, the company will be developing more brands on the shopping network.
In addition, Ms. Narov has managed award-winning public relations campaigns for a wide range of brands, including: Jordache, Victoria's Secret Beauty, Revlon, Frederic Fekkai, Extra Fine Merino Wool, Svedka Vodka, Heidi Klum for Mouawad and Melissa Odabash Swimwear as well as personalities Carolyn Murphy, Coco Rocha, Noemie Lenoir and Maggie Rizer.
Prior to joining Full Picture, Ms. Narov worked at NBC under Saturday Night Live Executive Producer Lorne Michaels. As a production associate she worked closely with Mr. Michaels on weekly shows as well as the Emmy Award-winning 25th Anniversary Special. Ms. Narov earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and began her career as an Associate of Business and Legal Affairs at Mr. Michaels' production company, Broadway Video.
