Fifteen years calls for a major celebration. François Nars decided to honor his company’s 15th year anniversary in the form of a new book with not only a creative angle, but also a charity aspect, and our favorite thing: models.

The makeup mogul teamed up with 15 famous faces, including Natasha Poly, Shalom Harlow, Naomi Campbell, Isabella Rossellini, Dayle Haddon, and Amber Valletta to create his newest book, called 15×15. “Basically I wanted people who reflected my taste, friends, and people I admired for their look and talent,” said Nars. Each portrait was inspired by an iconic image, person, or emotion, and a classic Nars product. For example, for Amber’s portrait, Nars looked to Catherine Deneuve in Belle du Jour and treated her lips with his popular sheer beige lipstick.

In addition to the professional portrait, each of the 15 faces were given a Leica camera to document their own inspiration.

The limited-edition book will sell for $80, and all of the proceeds will be put toward a good cause. The celebrities featured chose a favorite organization, and the revenue generated from the sale of the books will be donated to his or her favorite charity. “We all have to give,” Nars said. “There is a lot of need in the world.”
