Year after year, the CFDA honors those who have given back to the fashion industry with their creative designs, talents, and accomplishments. And last night, Nadja Swarovski and Diane von Furstenberg announced the nominees and honorees for the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards at the DVF studio. Along with a special tribute for Alexander McQueen, the awards will be held on June 7 at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall, and Modelinia is pleased to report a very special honoree this year. Iconic supermodel Iman will be honored with the Fashion Icon Award! She joins fellow supermodel Kate Moss, who was awarded with the accomplishment in 2005. After the major model moments that Iman has given to the industry, it’s only appropriate that she should receive this recognition.
