Before Fashion Week even begins, 200 models are set to takeover Lincoln Center as part of this year’s Fashion’s Night Out celebration!
Though we’re still a few months away from the massive evening of shopping and partying, Vogue just announced that they’re planning to host a runway event outside of Lincoln Center, with 1,500 guests, 200 models, and at least 200 looks.
“We felt it is important for people to see what wonderful fashion will be in stores at that moment,” said Anna Wintour. “This show will focus on the key trends we’ve identified for fall so that shoppers will have plenty of inspiration to join the fun during Fashion’s Night Out.”
This summer, tickets will go on sale, though the price has yet to be determined. As part of the FNO charity initiative, a portion of the proceeds will go to The New York City AIDS Fund.
With Raquel Zimmermann and Liya Kebede already posing in FNO t-shirts, we’re assuming these two models will strut down the runway. Vogue favorite Karlie Kloss is most likely a given, but with the huge number of girls needed, this will surely be a runway moment to remember, full of both fresh faces and iconic models.
