Graced with a cool summer evening, Salvatore Ferragamo invited models, editors, and fashion revelers to Le Bain at The Standard Hotel to celebrate their brand new fragrance, Attimo, (which means moment in Italian) starring the powerful Dree Hemingway. Chosen for her effortless chic and timeless beauty, Dree was a clear choice. ”When I got the campaign, I was nervous!” she said of her new role as the first face of the fragrance. “I didn’t actually think it was happening. The Ferragamo people are just like family. I’m so happy and honored.” Ever cool and collected, Dree seemingly floated around the party in a long shimmering Ferragamo number, which she described as her Katherine Hepburn look, displaying just a peek of her bandeau bikini underneath.
While there was no swimming last night, as the pool was drained in lieu of a graceful flower display, revelers weren’t at a loss for entertainment. Among the two floors, DJ Kiss provided tunes perfect for dancing under the disco ball, noshing on delicate macaroons, and a bit of novice modeling. Dree’s campaign was displayed in direct viewing on the roof for everyone to see, and guests were invited to recreate their own Attimo moment with famed party photographer Patrick McMullan. A male and female model lounged on one of the waterbeds in front of the campaign, and brave party goers took turns languishing on the sheets, in Dree inspired poses.
Through the night, the roof filled with guests including model friends like Lindsay Ellingson, Irina Lazareanu, and Linda Vojtova as well as Agyness Deyn, in a leather moto jacket, clearly prepared for the evening’s temperatures and holding court with BFF Fiona Byrne, no doubt discussing their new website.
Once the summer breeze turned chilly, everyone traipsed down the brightly graffitied stairs to the lower level, where a disco ball invited dancing, champagne swilling, and celebration for Ferragamo’s latest creation, along with Dree’s starring role.
