Milan Fashion Week has officially kicked off, and Gucci’s leading the runway moments as fashion editors move from London to Milan in the third leg of Fashion Month. As a celebration of the 90th anniversary of the celebrated fashion brand, Frida drew inspiration from a combination of Anjelica Huston and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine for a collection that made obvious references to the 1970s in long, draping gowns and blouses with bold bows.
And while Frida Giannini regularly debuts her mesmerizing designs with the help of more than a few noteable names, there’s a fresh face that’s drawing attention along with the likes of runway regulars like Natasha Poly, Kasia Struss, Anja Rubik. Jefimija Jokic took her very first strut down the runway thanks to the Gucci Fall 2011 collection and captured our attention. With her big bold eyes and precious pout, it’s only a matter of time before she’s snagged to grace the pages of editorials and campaigns.
