A Ladylike Edge at Charlotte Ronson

Our favorite redhead of the season is Codie Young who opened the Charlotte Ronson show in white tights, a black leather skirt and jacket that we can’t wait to go on sale. We caught up with the girls backstage as Jeanie Syfu from TRESemmé showed us the tricks to get the show’s sleek ponytail using the company’s new Split Remedy Conditioning treatment. To get that look you actually blow dry the hair straight back from the forehead. Most of the models had three hairstylists working on them at the same time to get that perfectly in place look

The Charlotte Ronson girl is usually very edgy, but this time around the collection was very 70s with a mix of refined glamour. Makeup artist Gilbert Soliz went with a softer look using colors from the Sephora Charlotte Ronson Masquerade Collection Set. The highlight of the face was a lip that really popped, which was created using a mix of the Hedi and Fabiola lip colors combined with a light eye using lavender eye shadow, just a touch of mascara and perfectly flawless skin.

Anne-Sophie Monrad and Shanina Shaik, no doubt the sexiest model of the bunch, helped show a collection that was much more mature than in seasons past. ~ Renee Lucas
