Lily Cole is a face you’ll want to remember. Not only because she’s appearing in movies such as The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus alongside the late Heath Ledger, but because she’s also building a major name for herself, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine seems to think she’ll be major. We totally agree. “The decadent, flame-haired, full-figured angel has even begun to overshadow Kate Moss’s chiseled urchin,” says T. “The Moss-Cole duality also plays to British class obsessions: Cole’s posh totty (a place at Cambridge is an idée fixe in her narrative) after Moss’s rough diamond.”
Featured in “The Love Interest” for the magazine’s fifth-anniversary issue, Lily is described as Édouard Manet’s Olympia, resembling Alice from Sir John Tenniel’s drawings of Alice in Wonderland, and the next big movie star. As if we weren’t in love before, cue the new spike in adoration from Modelinia.

And here’s another peek into her newest movie. It comes out on October 16, but that date’s already marked on your calendar, isn’t it?
