Season after season, Betsey Johnson doesn’t just show her new collection, she creates a party on the runway with a theme and decorations that only enhance her new designs. This year, editors and Betsey Johnson fans—including Gossip Girl’s Matthew Settle—were transported to the Wild West for a cops and robbers style fashion event. Betsey sent her girls down the hay-covered runway in a variety of designs, with headpieces that called to mind everything from the Valentino Couture runways to madams to farmhands and bandits.
But maybe the best part about Betsey’s runway is the fact that she really lets her girls act like themselves, playing for the audience and showing off their personalities. Modelinia found a few girls who would perform amazingly on the Victoria’s Secret team, blowing kisses and sashaying their way down the catwalk. ~ Bianca Posterli
