True to Christian Siriano standards, the designer presented a collection full of bold prints with titles to match: turquoise giraffe, amber giraffe, gold stone, and dark temple, just to name a few. Backstage, eco-friendly model Summer Rayne Oakes was busy Tweeting pictures of her fellow Payless designer’s latest creations, but took a moment to film a short video and express her excitement for a little collaboration news. While Summer Rayne recently launched a B2B marketplace, Source4Style, it seems Christian’s already a fan and sourced a few sustainable pieces from the model’s latest venture!
For a front row full of his close friends including Veronica Webb, Katrina Bowden, and his boyfriend - who provided not only the tunes, but the jewels as well - Christian brought African, Indian, and Chinese inspiration together in a collection that was both bold and demure. With a mix of one-shouldered cocktail dresses and over-the-top gowns, there was a look for every Siriano girl.
