Early September brought the news that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lara Stone were nominated for Model of the Year thanks to the British Fashion Awards, but it seems we have one more model moment to celebrate.
Naomi Campbell’s been around the world lately, celebrating a huge accomplishment - 25 years in the modeling industry. She partied in New York during Fashion’s Night Out, toasted with the men of Dolce & Gabbana in Milan, and blew out 40 birthday candles on the French Riviera.
Now, she’ll end 2010 with yet another accolade - the Lifetime Achievement Award by the British Fashion Council! Come December 7th, the BFA will honor Naomi and her position as one of the world’s most memorable and iconic supermodels. Given her devotion and additions to the modeling and fashion industries, it’s an award that’s certainly well deserved.
