While continuing with the creation of a minimalist collection, Calvin Klein Creative Director, Francisco Costa added a hint of sensuality to his Spring 2012 line. A romantic palette of blush pink, nude, and creamy yellow decorated a runway full of high-fashion models. Walking exclusively for Calvin Klein, Josefien Rodermans opened and closed the show with Hanne Gaby Odiele, Emily Baker, Daria Strokous, and Mirte Maas gracing the catwalk as well. Drifting away from his usual stiff and structured silhouettes, Costa’s Spring pieces were sleek and body-hugging and accentuated the female figure in all the right places.
Although we were at first sad that Lara Stone would not be walking the show as she normally does, we were delighted to see her sitting front row in a stunning orange shifty dress. After all, a Calvin Klein show wouldn’t feel right without Lara in some kind of facet.
