After meandering our way through the crowds in the Meatpacking District, we practically bumped right into Elisa Sednaoui, who was on her way to take over the turntables at Diane von Furstenburg’s FNO party for the rest of the night. “I’m just excited to be here!” she gushed as publicists pulled her into the adjacent room to pose for photographs with lady of the night, DVF, herself. After a few twirls by the DJ booth and a fly-by Molly Sims sighting, we set down our glasses and headed across the street to Stella McCartney’s event hosted by Selma Blair and Helena Christensen.

Upon entering we spotted none other than model-turned-blogger and Fashion’s Night Out connoisseur, Hanneli Mustaparta, munching on a complimentary hot dog. “My favorite topping is fried onions,” she proclaimed as we drooled over her black and tan striped Stella McCartney dress. “I’m having such a good time I might just stay here all night!” Our thoughts remained the same until we got word that Victoria’s Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio was across the street at Carlos Miele celebrating the birthday of her friend Michelle Alves, who was hosting Miele’s Fashion’s Night Out party. “This is my first time at Fashion’s Night Out, and it’s just so exciting to see all of this happening,” remarked the always-enthusiastic Alessandra in a creamy pink one-shoulder dress. After a few Leblon caipirinhas, Alessandra and fellow supermodels Nicole Trunfio, Jeisa Chiminazzo and Carolina Bittencourt celebrated Michelle Alves’ birthday by snacking on miniature cupcakes ornamented with little Brazilian flags.

As if we could ever have too many supermodels in one night, we scurried over to the Maybelline event to receive a free makeover courtesy of Maybelline and to watch Emily DiDonato, Jessica White, and Lisalla Montenegro judge FNO attendees strut their stuff down a mini runway. Post show, we had to venture uptown to catch some of Karen Elson singing at the Balenciaga party.
It seemed we weren’t the only ones anxious to watch the red-headed siren sing a few songs, because upon our arrival we stumbled upon a gigantic line full of Elson devotees waiting to catch some melodies. But after some serious patience and a touch of persistence, we made our way through the glass doors to hear Karen serenade our ears with her deep, powerful voice. Once we heard a few songs we decided to finish off the night by heading back to the Maybelline tents to watch Kemp Muhl and Sean Lennon DJ an epic dance party right in the middle of 9th Avenue and West 13th Street. A perfect way to end a fashionably fun night. ~ Sonia Evers
