As the arbiter of model off duty fashions and cool kid style, Alexander Wang is upping his creative abilities again this season. Though campaigns aren’t quite of the norm for Alex, he’s launching a multimedia kind of design, featuring none other than Abbey Lee Kershaw. As a collaboration with Craig McDean, Karl Templer and creative director Fabien Baron, the designer and model created his very first women’s campaign video, as a short of homage to NYC’s money making Wall Street, while dancing about in his Fall designs.
“Abbey’s not walking down Wall Street past buildings, but there’s wind and newspapers flying all over the place. It’s very moody and seductive — like looking at a perfume ad where you feel for the girl a lot more. Rather than saying, ‘Here’s the product,’ this is more about expressing ourselves,” explained Alex.
