Aggy Shows off Her Acting Range

Though her IMDb page has yet to be updated with the news, Agyness Deyn is adding a brand new credit to her list of acting accomplishments!

We’ve seen Agyness play the role of a 1930’s courtesan in Mean to Me and Aphrodite in Clash of the Titans, but now she’s set to test her acting skills in a very different sort of character. Aggy signed on to take part in the remake of Pusher, which originally was released in 1996, as Flo a stripper, who finds her way out of the country through the main character, a drug dealer named Frank. The new version of the film, directed by Luis Prieto, is set to film in Shoreditch, London despite the original’s Copenhagen location.

One thing’s for sure … Agyness is hardly taking it easy on her acting roles. From a courtesan to a Greek god to a stripper, she’s making a valiant effort to portray a wide range of characters to show off her dramatic skills. Mark you calendars for Spring/Summer 2012 when the movie will hit theaters.
