It looks as if Agyness Deyn is now switching up her style to match her big screen credentials! At last night’s premiere of her first major film, Pusher, held at the Hackney Picture House in London, the model-turned-actress went understated and elegant in a sculptural white Comme Des Garcons dress, black patent heels, and glossy, combed back tresses. Not exactly the look we would have expected, considering Aggy’s most recent on-screen style. For her leading role in the gritty remake as a stripper and drug addict, the model/actress sported bondage-style lingerie, decorative tassels and one vibrant red wig— an intimidating look for any girl to pull off, top model or not. Despite her character Flo’s more daring sartorial choices though, Agyness couldn’t help but to be attracted to the her vulnerability.
“She’s so vulnerable, but so strong at the same time. It’s as if she sees everything for the first time,” Agyness told Grazia Daily. “She’s a romanticist, she sees the best in people and wants to bring that out of Frank (her on screen boyfriend). I fell in love with her.”
Something tells us that if her character is half as charming as Aggy herself, we’ll be falling in love with her in no time too!
