Alessandra Ambrosio has teamed up with footwear brand Melissa to create two pairs of girly shoes, set to debut next fall. The first of the two is a glittery pump called Incense Glitter, and the second is a comfortable, everyday ballet flat called the Melissa Divine; one we imagine she’ll get quite a lot of use out of once her new baby arrives! Excited at the prospect of doing something outside of the modeling world, Alessandra made sure to create pieces that reflected her own personal style. “I thought about something that represented my style. I only dress in what I love and what I’m into wearing everyday,” she said.
To celebrate the collaboration, Melissa placed Alessandra on the cover of their biannual magazine, Plastic Dreams. Wearing a baby doll dress and the glittery Melissa pumps of her own design, Alessandra poses against a golden backdrop that bears a striking resemblance to the 30 pound gold wings she wore on the Victoria’s Secret runway.
Alessandra’s shoes will be available for purchase starting in August and can be found at any Melissa store! Which style will you pick? We’re going to go ahead and take both.
