For the very first livestreamed Met Gala, models and celebrities really pulled out all the fashion stops. There were certainly more high-fashion “wow” moments on the red carpet this year than any year past, with a number of silhouettes that were far more risque than the voluminous gowns we’re used to seeing at this event. Karolina Kurkova definitely took the spotlight in her body hugging sequined Rachel Zoe gown with a matching turban that took us right back to Kate Moss wearing Marc Jacobs in 2009. Coco Rocha, one of the first supermodels on the red carpet, worked her Liz Taylor pantsuit and pink hair beautifully, though we’re still trying to find a picture of that wine stain. Anja Rubik took a major risk wearing a slit-up-to-there Anthony Vaccarello gown that puts Angelina’s right-leg to shame. And then of course there’s Gisele Bündchen, who will always nail the red carpet, wearing a beaded Givenchy gown that apparently weighed 25 pounds.
Here’s a look at all the supermodels at last night’s Met Gala. Who do you think was best dressed?
