In the lead up to Fashion Week, it’s the little things that we find really great joy in, like a random new piece of information we discover.
Today we’re lucky enough to share two of those tidbits.
During an interview for the Pulse section of The New York Times, Jamie Bochert talks about her shopping habits, including the Rick Owens boots that she’s coveting but, sadly, are unavailable so she will never own, and her brand-new Marc Jacobs boater hat from the Spring collection.
But tucked in at the bottom is a small detail about Jamie’s alter ego. She’s working on a new album that she’ll begin recording in January, not as Jamie, but rather as Frances Wolf. BeyoncĂ© has Sasha Fierce, why shouldn’t Jamie have Frances?
Our second bit of fun facts is hidden toward the end of another interview, this time with Yasmin Le Bon regarding her new line for Willis. Seems like the model turned designer has another love in her life, in the form of the martial art, wing chun. “If I’d been allowed to do it in my twenties,” she said, “I would be fighting for a living—I love nothing more than fighting.”
Just another day’s lesson from Modelinia.
