You may not be familiar with Elle Serbia, but chances are you’re already well-acquainted with the glossy’s latest cover star, Andrej Pejic! The androgynous model has spent the better part of this year making headlines for his work as a female model, and today he is back to his attention-grabbing ways having been honored as the first-ever male to cover the international ‘zine.
Shot by photographer Dusan Reljin, Andrej poses for the cover dressed in a short, black wig and a head-to-toe look pulled straight from Jean Paul Gaultier’s latest women’s collection— not surprising considering Andrej was spotted walking the runway at the designer’s Fall 2012 show. Turn to the inside cover story though, and things get a little more interesting. While making a tongue-and-cheek reference to his own portfolio, the gender-bending model takes on dual roles as both a male model dressed in Gaultier menswear and as a scantily-clad female styled in sexy looks by La Perla and Agent Provocateur. Whether he’s working as a male or female, one thing is for sure, Andrej is most definitely a model to be reckoned with! Check out more of Andrej’s double duty modeling work after the jump!
