If you were looking for a major all-star cast, Anna Sui wins.
Fresh off her uptown looks for Oscar de la Renta earlier that morning, Karen Elson opened AND closed the Victorian meets Woodstock-inspired show, alongside her model colleagues, including Agyness Deyn, Sasha Pivovarova, Natasha Poly, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Snejana Onopka, Sessilee Lopez, Liu Wen, and Jamie Bochert. Each girl stomped down the runway with perfect imitations of Anna’s hair: stick straight and blowing in the wind. To a full house, Anna showed 50 looks on her models of choice, and received a huge round of applause before Karen could even complete her final walk back up the runway.
Meanwhile, Modelinia was seeing double Irinas in the crowd. Already we caught up with Lazareanu at 3.1 Phillip Lim and Jeremy Scott, but spotted her again sitting front row to watch her model friends show off the Sui’s designs, while posing for a quick photo op with the other Irina…Pantaeva that is. ~ Bianca Posterli
