We’ll leave the majority of the fashion reporting about Elise Øverland’s collection to our model blogger, Julie Henderson, and simply comment on the scene at the show on Saturday evening.
Set on the west west side of Manhattan at Exit Art, Elise had a power front row, including Julie, Maggie Rizer, Kelly Osbourne, Malin Akerman, and the ethereal Heidi Klum. The supermodel strode in and it was as if the sea parted for her, giving her the perfect space to walk right down the runway before the show started and go backstage. Filming for Germany’s Next Top Model, Heidi gave her best wishes to the contestants walking for Elise and retreated to her seat alongside fellow GNTM judges.
Postshow, Modelinia caught up with Heidi to hear what she had to say about the collection, which got the Kluminator’s stamp of approval. “I have a lot of things from Elise Øverland,” Heidi gushed. “I love the leather dress with long sleeves, that was one of my favorites.” ~ Bianca Posterli
