Behati's with the Band

Katy Perry fans were in for a treat last night. Not only was the concert at Hammerstein Ballroom a sold out show, but the night was turned (RED) as part of the (RED) NIGHTS concert series, giving back to those fighting HIV in Africa.

Plus, Behati Prinsloo was hanging with Modelinia scoping out the scene, and even introduced Katy onstage. Since Behati’s from Africa, the charity is close to her heart, and she was thrilled to be a part of the special evening.

The night began by chatting up fans who stood in line to see Katy, and Behati found out that the first girl in line slept outside with her mother just so that they could be inside before everyone else. That’s true dedication.

Once inside, the concert began with Cobra Starship opening the show, and Behati mingled in the crowd dancing and jumping alongside fans. Her boyfriend, Jamie, and his little brother snuck up to their seats above to watch the show, while Behati stole backstage to prep for her big moment in front of all of Katy’s fans. Like a pro, she welcomed the crowed, explained (RED) and the concert series, and then it was time for the main music moment.

Behati’s dancing skills were back on as she bopped in and out of the crowd, mixing with fans, and noting celeb appearances from Rihanna, Leighton Meester, and Donald and Melania Trump. The hit single “I Kissed a Girl” was in her head as she hummed to herself, and luckily the last song of the evening gave Behati the chance to belt it out.

But the night wasn’t over yet. A quick photo op with Katy later turned into an interview between the model and singer—but you’ll have to wait for the details on those questions!
