Each year Vogue and the CFDA select a group of talented young designers to compete for a year of mentorship and support to launch their career. And to the delight of fashion lovers everywhere, Vogue TV gives you a backstage pass to the event this year at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles to meet the 10 hopeful designers and hear them discuss the inspiration behind their collections.
For this special show, each candidate sent five looks down the runway. Obviously, no look would be complete without the perfect do, and for this essential aspect of the show, Vogue knew just who to turn to: Frédéric Fekkai. The stylist’s excitement at being involved couldn’t be more apparent, as he created two original hairstyles for the designers’ final runway presentation.
