Betsey Johnson took editors on a ride around New York City during her Spring 2011 show, playing on the idea of a Tour de Betsey. With the inspiration drawn from iconic NYC areas such as Brooklyn, The Met, Central Park, Times Square, and the Seaport, her show served as a thrilling ride around the city in fashion show form. Though there were rumors that models would be riding bicycles down the runway, only one model took on the challenge of four wheels, while Betsey kicked off her usual post-show saunter and cartwheel with a ride of her own. Some were mesmerized by the glittering looks and story line, but we were model spotting and thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm by Shelby - one of our favorites from Miami Fashion Week - as well as Chrishell Stubbs, who we picked as a Fresh Face for Spring 2011. ~ Bianca Posterli
