Today is campaign day apparently. And looking at these stunning images we couldn’t be happier
First up we have the Fall ‘09 D&G ad, featuring Sara Blomqvist, Hanna Rundlof, Katie Fogarty, Ragnhild Jevne, and Stephanie Rad. The girls posed for Mario Testino in the drawing room, which kind of reminds us of the old-school board game Clue with its deep colors and extravagant setting.
Meanwhile the new Dolce & Gabbana ad shows Edita Vilkeviciute, Heidi Mount, and Mariacarla Boscono—shot by Steven Klein—in a Vegas hotel setting. A little Oceans Eleven viewing for inspiration, perhaps?
In the fragrance world, Raquel Zimmermann shows off her new blonde locks for Fendi Palazzo perfume, shot by Karl Lagerfeld. The gold tones are kind of perfect to pair with the decadent bottle, and we’re in looove with Raquel’s stare and updo.
Gianfranco Ferré decided to go with not one, but three versions of Karolin Wolter for the Fall ‘09 campaign, which was shot by Stefano Moro and looks structured and architectural beyond belief.
And finally there’s the Prada Fall ‘09 ad with Katlin Aas (who opened and closed the show), Kendra Spears, Julia Hafstrom, and Ymre Stiekema by Steven Meisel. The hair is straight from the runway—which we adore—and it seems like it’s set to continue the deep, dark, almost vampire-inspired theme we’ve been seeing.
