Cara Delevingne and Sara Blomqvist Turn Hollywood Starlets!

There must be something in the water today, because the list of models-turned-actresses just keeps on growing! On the heels of Agyness Deyn’s Pusher sequel announcement comes the news that fellow British beauty, Cara Delevingne, may also be adding another credit to her IMDB page with a role in actress-turned-director Sadie Frost’s upcoming film.

According to Grazia, Frost is intent on casting the Burberry model in the forthcoming film, entitled Set the Thames on Fire, which will be produced by her film company, Blonde to Black pictures.

Said Frost to the international publication, “There’s a part we would love Cara to be in…she’s got such an amazing look and such a great energy, she’s perfect for the part so I hope she can do it.”

While the studio is currently only in the “early talks” stage with the model, things are looking good for this rising young starlet as she has already landed a small role in this year’s Anna Karenina remake.

In the meantime, Sara Blomqvist is giving us plenty to swoon over, as the star of a gritty new flick set in her native Sweden! Entitled Sommarstället : ‘ The Summer House, ‘ the improvisational film follows Sara and her close-knit group of friends over the course of a two day weekend away on the west coast of Sweden.  The two day project looks into the lives and personal affairs of the group to provide an intimate depiction of the modern day relationship— all the signs of a dramatic hit!

Look out Hollywood, because the models are taking over!
