Cara Delvingne Awarded Best Model at the British Fashion Awards!

She’s landed a Burberry campaign, she’s walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and now Cara Delevingne has received her first BFA!

Following her recent catwalk success, the quirky Brit has just won the title of Best Model at this year’s British Fashion Awards held today at London’s Savoy Hotel.  Joined by fellow model nominees Jourdan Dunn and David Grandy, the young modeling sensation accepted her award in a dazzling metallic green Burberry minidress, now placing her amongst the ranks of British greats Stella Tennant, Lara Stone, and Georgia May Jagger.

But don’t pretend as if you were surprised!  Aside from capturing the fashion world’s attention with her lighthearted approach to street-style— think animal costumes and Bart Simpson cartoons— Cara was one of the most in-demand models on the runway throughout the Spring 2013 Fashion Week, walking in a total of 31 shows including Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana.  With that, the fashion star has gone on to nab more than a few glossy editorials featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and most recently, the cover of Style.com/Print and i-D’s winter issues.  Add that to her growing list of film credits and you have the recipe for one fruitful career.

Sending our congrats to Cara on the well-deserved honor— we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her!
