Thank you, Carlos Miele, for bringing fun to the runways this season.
Instead of the usual solemn power walk down the catwalk, Carlos asked Abbey Lee Kershaw, Constance Jablonski, and Eniko Mihalik to come out as a trio and giggle to open the show—which turned out perfectly adorable and not contrived in the least bit.
Between the chiffon dresses and the variance of colors, we were transported to Brazil by way of Carlos. Along with the mix of colors, sequins, and sunny behavior from the collection came an upbeat feeling in the model’s step, especially Charlotte di Calypso, whose blonde locks were bouncing Victoria’s Secret-style. And most noticeably, to pair with the giggling girls from the show’s opening, Carlos had his models show off a sly smile down the runway, proving that everything really is better in Brazil.
