Cat Eyes for Zac

Image via WWD

It’s kind of amazing to see what models, designers and photographers can come up with, when given just a day and an opportunity. Luis Venegas, the publisher of Fanzine137, gave Zac Posen a double-page spread to create and publish his first ever ad for the magazine.  Zac grabbed his friends – photographer Ellen von Unwerth, stylist Christopher Niquet and chose Alexandra Tomlinson as the lucky girl to model for his first advertisement. The designer brought together the idea of Ava Gardner in “The Barefoot Contessa” with ‘50s Revlon ad feel to create the end product. One day of work, one stunning image.
