Chanel Iman + Adriana Lima's Victoria's Secret Fitness Routines

During the last few weeks before the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, models are working hard to get their figures into perfect condition for the sparkly runway. That being said, every girls’ body is different and thus the exercise and diet routines vary between each model. Here we have two shockingly different approaches to prepping for the lingerie filled show featuring Victoria’s Secret Angels, Adriana Lima and Chanel Iman.

Back in August, Adriana started a workout consisting of boxing, jumping rope, and lifting weights for two hours a day. Three weeks before the show she began hitting the gym twice a day, drinking a gallon of water a day and adopting a strict diet of no carbs or fat.  Then, “two days before the show, she will abstain from the daily gallon of water, and ‘just drink normally’. Then, 12 hours before the show, she will stop drinking entirely.” the Telegraph reports.

Chanel Iman on the other hand, focused on gaining weight for the show. “I’m always the opposite of everything,” Chanel told us during her fitting last week. Having already gained 15 pounds, Chanel’s been working hard to keep the weight on. “I drink a lot of protein shakes and do a lot of weight lifting,” she said. And the day before the Fashion Show? “I have a big potluck at my house. All my friends bring over food and we barbecue and party it up!”

While both routines sound exhausting and intense, we could definitely do the Chanel plan but would probably benefit more from Adriana’s. Either way, each girl is absolutely stunning with figures that set the standard for the ideal of beauty.
