While the Kaiser is currently in Venice for the Chanel Cruise 2010 collection’s debut, the images for the brand’s Paris-Moscow Pre Fall 2009 collection have made it to the public. The campaign stars Sasha Pivovarova, such the Chanel girl, looking extremely Anna Karenina. Given the fact that she opened the show in Paris this December, she’s an obvious choice, and perfect, we think, to honor the relationship Coco Chanel had with Russia.
And in case that’s not enough model news for you, Lara Stone is also in Venice with Karl for a photo shoot in Piazza San Marco, while Siri Tollerød, Heidi Mount, Liu Wen, Charlotte di Calypso, and Denisa Dvorakova, are said to have just walked in the show, plus Inguna Butane, and Snejana Onopka, who sent pictures home.
