Back in the midst of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show fittings, we caught up with Chanel Iman to talk about her upcoming 21st birthday on December 1st. “I’ve been so busy lately I haven’t really had time to think about it but I want to do something really fun,” she said. Although she had no plans at the time, she was sure she’d be sipping on her favorite cocktail, the Piña Colada. “I love Piña Coladas, probably because I go to the Caribbean so much.”
Now, with her 21st birthday happening at the stroke of midnight, it seems her non-existent plans have turned into something every thirsty soon-to-be 21-year-old dreams of (could we expect anything less from Chanel?). The Victoria’s Secret Angel has rented a private island off the shore of Jamaica where she and her closest friends and family will jam out to a reggae-themed party. And although these plans are significantly different than anything she suggested at the Victoria’s Secret fittings, one thing has remained the same: she still plans on drinking piña coladas.
