Christian Siriano knows what he likes in a model, and for that we applaud him.
As the inventive and ingenious designer showed off the Fall 2010 collection, we couldn’t help but notice his lovely Sessilee Lopez was back—and debuted not only his finale look, but opened the show as well! You’ll remember their text message obsession from a year ago, which continues today.
The front row was full of pals of the designer’s, including Kristen Johnston, Mena Suvari, Kat DeLuna, and of course doting boyfriend Brad Walsh, who provided tunes and major support. Christian’s women were a bit more grown up compared to previous seasons, as the designer found inspiration in Parisian women from the 1960s. Brocade skirts, flounces, and his expert tailoring were all obvious on the runway. And here’s a note: If you’re a shoe lover like Modelinia, you’ll die over his newest creations, which are inspired by antique furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries. ~ Bianca Posterli
