Coco + Behati Draw Crowds for "Letters to Haiti"

Milk Studios was packed last night with models and industry insiders including Karlie KlossHilary Rhoda, and Zac Posen for the US premier of James Conran’s film, “Letters to Haiti” which documents his wife Coco Rocha and Behati Prinsloo’s philanthropic experiences working with Haitian children in need. “I think one of the most amazing things about my time there was that even with all the damage all the kids were still so happy and smiling - they still found a way to be kids and have fun and I loved being a part of that,” Behati said.

The film follows Coco and Behati around as they engage in activities including playing soccer, coloring, and taking pictures with the children. “When you’re there with the kids you just want to take care of all of them, it was a really touching experience,” Coco said.

Though the earthquake in Haiti happened months ago, Behati and Coco are striving to keep things current and continue to bring awareness and support to the cause. “There’s still so much to be done and it’s important to remind people because people forget. It still needs our attention and help and I encourage everyone to donate to Lakay Pam,” said Coco.

In the next month, Coco will embark on a cruise which finishes in Haiti, and though it’s not the same town she was in before, she’s looking forward to seeing how things are going and getting back in touch with some of the people she worked with earlier. “I’d love to do another round of letters but we can’t right now because there’s no postal system in Haiti. So maybe that’s the next step.”
