High fashion and baseball don’t exactly make for a perfect match, unless of course Coco Rocha is involved!
The modeling star and newly appointed coach on the upcoming fashion reality show, “The Face,” made a special trip to Citi Field recently, as part of the CFDA’s latest collaboraion with the Mets baseball team. Hitting the field in full-on Mets x CFDA garb, one would have never guessed that this was the model’s first time around a professional baseball diamond. Although she may look like the perfect All-American girl, let’s not forget that the top model is actualy Candian-born. The lack of fielding experience didn’t stop Coco from stepping up to bat for a few swings, or making an appearance on the stadium’s big-screen.
“I got to meet all the players, so I’m definitely a lucky fan,” Coco told WWD while showing off her team spirit.
Now, baseball uniforms may not seem like the best route to take with this season’s athletic trend, but when paired with chic Monika Chiang Artemys wedge sneakers, we can’t deny that Coco’s spirited dugout attire may have us second guessing ourselves after all.
