Cover Watch: June 2009

It’s time to stalk newsstands and mailboxes again because the June issues are coming in quickly! Lily Donaldson graces the cover of Chinese Vogue, shot by Mario Sorrenti, while Du Juan is on the supplement issue, captured by Cedric Buchet. Inside, both girls have their own editorials: “Chocks Away,” by Tim Walker and “Smart Shopping,” respectively. Liu Wen and Irina Lazareanu also appear inside, in “Body Graphics” and “Love Me Love My Body,” while Daria Werbowy’s editorial, “Find Your Perfect Weight,” was originally published in the April 2009 issue of Vogue.

Liz Hurley shows off her country girl persona for Tatler, admitting, “When I close my eyes and think of England, I’m not in a fancy restaurant in Knightsbridge, but am instead lolling, scantily clad, in front of a roaring fire, surrounded by four Labradors and Rupert Campbell-Black.” She has a Gloucestershire estate, which she shares with husband, Arun Nayar, son Damian, four Labradors, two cats, three geese, eight chickens, 49 cows, 63 sheep, and 82 pigs.

As well, Anne Vyalitsyna poses for photographer Camilla Akrans for H&M’s summer magazine, as well as the editorial, “Here Comes the Sun.” Last but not least, there’s Natalia Vodianova on the cover of Russian Vogue, wearing those Mickey Mouse Louis Vuitton ears;  our image is blurry, but it’s too good not to share.
