Modelinia harbors a new model girl crush on a daily, if not hourly, basis, so we’re hardly shocked that more than a few musicians express their love for models through song.
The latest crooners to dedicate lyrics to a runway stunner are The Vaccines, who dreamt up the song Norgaard after stumbling upon Amanda Norgaard. Modelinia snagged a moment with Justin, the lead singer of the band, to find out just how the crush came about.
“I wrote Norgaard after a night out,” he explained. “Amanda was obviously really pretty but I liked the idea of being overly frank. Also, if I’m being honest, I thought it was be a fun experiment to write a song about a girl I thought was pretty and didn’t know, rather than one that had me under her spell for months on end.”
But while some musicians write their lyrics, perform their song, and never hear from their new model crush, this was hardly true for The Vacccines. Amanda actually starred in the music video for the song which boasts her name!
