Paris Fashion Week continues, and the shows and model news just get better.
Mirte Maas has had a major season already, but today her runway résumé got even more impressive. Mirte opened the Yves Saint Laurent show to a full crowd, including a front row audience of Kate Moss, Yasmin Le Bon, and Claudia Schiffer. And while the collection was contemporary chic (perfect for Claudia), the stand-out accessory—adorable little strawberry earrings—came down the runway on Kasia Struss.

Forget the solemn stares. Sonia Rykiel gave her models the chance to express themselves, and they certainly did. The runway turned into a party, as girls like Karlie Kloss, Imogen Morris Clarke, Siri Tollerød, Alana Zimmer, and Abbey Lee Kershaw sashayed around editors, blowing kisses and dancing about. Love the smiles, girls!

This morning, editors woke up in Paris but were transported to the farm by way of Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. Known for his elaborate stages, the master built a full-on barn for the bucolic show, complete with haystacks. Surprises continued throughout the show. Karl’s favorite, Heidi Mount, opened to the crow of a rooster, Iekeliene Stange and Charlotte di Calypso joined singer Lily Allen during her mid-show performance, but the finale came when Lara Stone, Freja Beha Erichsen, and Baptiste Giabiconi decided to take a barefoot romp in the hay, complete with a kiss to seal the end of the show.
