If you heard amazing tunes spewing from the East Village last night, you can thank Alexa Chung and Alexandra Richards. Creative Recreation hosted a summer celebration in the penthouse of the Cooper Hotel for the new Spring 2010 line and requested the musical talents from model turned TV host Alexa, as well as Alexandra and Dree Hemingway.
Unfortunately Dree missed her DJ moment (again), but this time it was due to illness rather than a sudden work opportunity. Hopefully we’ll hear her spinning soon. In her absence, Alexa kept the party a must-stop for the evening, playing songs like “The Lovecats” by the Cure and dancing around with friend Tennessee Thomas before turning over the tables to Alexandra, while partygoers enjoyed a stunning view of the city at it’s finest.
