Daphne Groeneveld has had one successful year with an impressive season on the Spring 2012 runways, landing the cover of this month’s V Magazine, being featured in the Versace x H&M campaign alongside Abbey Lee Kershaw and Lindsey Wixson, and now as the face of Calvin Klein’s new fragrance, Sheer Beauty.
Daphne has been a Calvin Klein favorite since her first runway season (she opened his Spring and Fall 2011 shows), so becoming the face of one his campaigns was a natural next step. Looking at the careers of the previous faces of Calvin Klein, which, boasts everyone from Kate Moss to Lara Stone to Doutzen Kroes, there’s no doubt that such a campaign is a one-way ticket to supermodel stardom.
