In case you don’t live in Internetland and weren’t aware, last night was the 13th Annual Webby Awards.
It was full of the typical Internet guys, but, of course, there were some guest appearances. Martha Stewart introduced Biz Stone (given her new love for Twitter), Seth Myers hosted, and Isabella Rossellini accepted an award for her work on the Sundance show Green Porno.
But the real surprise for all those nerdy boys, we’re sure, was the fact that Alessandra Ambrosio and Doutzen Kroes showed up to accept the Victoria’s Secret People’s Voice Award in the Fashion category. The girls spent the whole day together promoting the new Victoria’s Secret Facebook fan page, and then appropriately continued the Internet-focused day, causing countless mouths to drop at the event. And, as you may know, each award speech can only be five words. So what did the supermodels come up with for their acceptance moment? “Victoria’s Secret Sexy Lingerie. Yeah!”
