Doutzen Kroes rocked the red carpet last night (doesn’t she always?) at the Amsterdam premier of her new film, Nova Zembla. Much like her beauty, Doutzen kept things classic and elegant in a couture Giambattista Valli gown and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
The film, which, officially hits theaters on the 24th, tells the story of a failed sea voyage in the late 16th century. The ship crew gets stuck in the ice of Nova Zembla while on their way to Asia and are forced to survive the freezing cold, gruesome winter conditions in the North Pole. Doutzen plays Catharina Plancius, the leading lady who falls in love with one of the crew members played by Robert de Hoog.
Filmed in the Netherlands, this movie is 100% Dutch, but we’re hoping for some English subtitles because from the looks of the trailer (and Doutzen’s excitement), this movie is bound to be a big hit.
