New York city was living the dream last night.
A deluge of models, celebrities, and fashion insiders came together to celebrate the opening of the new Dream Downtown, the PH-D rooftop Lounge, and Marble Lane Restaurant in Chelsea. The latest creation from Sant and Vikram Chatwal, Noah Tepperberg, Jason Strauss, Marc Packer, and Rich Wolf has already been likened to this generation’s Studio 54 and if the caliber of last night’s attendees were any indication, the new hotel very well may live up to the hype.
While the downstairs was decadent and rich with silver couches and massive two story windows, it was the roof and pool that really drew the revelers. Among the well heeled crowed we spotted Jessica White and Jacquelyn Jablonski, after catching up with Heide Lindgren and her boyfriend. Solange Knowles entertained the crowd with a well placed mix of music, while guests snacked on hors d’oeuvres by chefs Ralph Scamardella and Manuel Trevino.
Between glimpses of the silver mermaids which entertained guests including Jacquelyn, Modelinia ran into Constance Jablonski, who was fresh from walking down the Animale runway for São Paulo Fashion Week. The beauty played the part of a good sibling, as her date for the evening was her brother! Before she took off into the crowd, we noticed a perfect coincidence - both the Modelinia editor and Constance were sporting feather accessories!
