Modelinia can never get enough of two things: meaningful friendships between models and designers, and charitable initiatives. With this news, we give you both.
Carlos Miele put his aesthetic spin on two different silk scarves to benefit the CFDA’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer initiative, creating a fashionable way to give back. And though it wasn’t planned, a fellow Brazilian and friend is showing her support for Carlos’ latest venture. Caroline Trentini popped by his store for a little afternoon visit, and ended up trying on the new scarf, while posing for a few spur of the moment pictures to show off the endless ways to style the look.
Since we know you’re sold, here are the deets: Each scarf is for sale for $125 at his store in NYC, as well as stores in Brazil and France and could easily be everyone’s go-to summer accessory. Just think of the options.
To toast the newest creation, Carlos is hosting a little Brazilian inspired event tomorrow evening, complete with tunes from the ever in demand model DJ, Harley Viera Newton. Outfits accessorized with scarves are obvi a must.
