No offense to the actresses of the world, but pretty soon, the models will take over Hollywood. With Liya Kebede’s role in Desert Flower, Agyness Deyn’s premiere moment in the short film Mean to Me, and Brooklyn Decker’s cinematic appearance in Just Go With It alongside Jennifer Aniston, models are bringing their talents to the movie industry.
Elisa Sednaoui is the latest to add credits to her IMDb profile. She just recently finished shooting the film Not Before, Not After by Lithuanian director Sharunas Bartas where she played the wife of a man on the run from the Russian mafia and Buss Palladium, which opens this week in Paris. In the latter, she not only displays her acting talents, but also her signing capabilities, taking on the role of Laura, a rock musician in a band called Lust.
But that’s not all. Elisa’s already planning her next film, which takes place in Italy.
