If you’re not on Twitter yet, you really should be. Last night Ashton Kutcher wrote on his account that he signed Elle Macpherson for his new TV show, and everyone’s talking about it this morning. He tweeted, “Just cast Elle Macpherson in our new show. Wow that takes me back to taping up pages on magazines on my wall in HS.”
The television drama, called Beautiful Life, will air on the CW, and cast Elle to play Claudia, a former model who owns Focus Models modeling agency. This won’t be her first experience onscreen, as she had a recurring role on Friends and appeared in a few movies including Batman & Robin. This role might be closer to her heart, we imagine. Ashton described it as a “scripted look at the behind-the-scenes of the modeling world,” revolving around female and male models living in New York. Though we’re hoping it will be more of a real television show and less of a scripted reality one, we’re just thrilled that, along with House of Style, we’ll be seeing more models on the small screen.
