We fell in love with Eniko Mihalik all over again when we spotted her on the Marc Jacobs runway. And then, we fell in love with her amazing silver lip and had to know more. New York Times Style section to the rescue! They corralled François Nars to describe the method behind the beauty. “We wanted the models to look like girls ready to go clubbing, to reflect the edgy spirit of those years,” he told the Times. “The inspiration was Debbie Harry and all the girls like her who would really spend time putting paint on their faces.” The surprise though, is that the silver lacquered look is from eye shadow, not lipstick.
Now, don’t get us wrong. We really can’t imagine that this is an easy look to pull off, though Eniko looks stunning. But there’s a time and place for everything, right? Even if you are just channeling Eniko’s look for a night.
