Premiering in New York City last night, Agyness Deyn’s latest cinematic venture, HERE, depicts the story of a girl traveling around America following clues to meet her lover. The 15-minute short produced by Waris Ahluwalia and directed by Luca Guadagnino was created for The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts to showcase three properties: the Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont, the Phoenician Resort in Scotsdale, Arizona, and the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki.
Much like Aggy’s classic beauty, the film is timeless, focusing entirely Aggy’s journey and the locations she encounters on the way. Though she has no lines (aside from an endearing giggle here and there), Aggy reminds us of Grace Kelly in one of her many Hitchcock films, which Ahluwalia and Guadagnino drew much of their inspiration from.
