Fashion Close Up: Models at the 2013 Golden Globes!

Hollywood’s finest may have been the focus of last night’s 70th annual Golden Globes awards show, but you better believe that they weren’t the only A-listers tearing up the red carpet!  Although out numbered by the gaggle of sparkly screen sirens and dapper men in attendance, supermodels Heidi Klum, Rosie Huntington-WhiteleyMiranda Kerr and Barbara Palvin managed to shine bright in their ultra glamorous attire, landing them in definite best dressed territory today.

It should come as no surprise that leading the pack of runway stunners was Heidi Klum, who continued her recent hot streak with a sleek, one-shouldered Alexandre Vaulthier white couture gown.  With its elegant touch of gold embellishment, thigh-high slit and dramatic train, the look proved to be one of Heidi’s best and a definite Golden Globes winner.  To top it all off, Heidi accessorized the look with an eye-catching pair of gold chandelier earrings designed by Lorraine Schwartz, metallic gold Christian Louboutin heels and soft, side-swept waves that recalled an air of true old Hollywood beauty.

Meanwhile, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took a break from her go-to airport-chic attire to slip into a seductive black halter design compliments of Saint Laurent. But this wasn’t your average LBD, as Rosie looked equal parts bold and sexy in the vampish number.  The radiant model also took the chance to show off her killer gams in a high cut slit, while a wide leather belt and tie-bow detail added just the right amount of intrigue and femininity to the winning look.

As for Miranda Kerr, it was easy to see why Orlando Bloom couldn’t keep his eyes off of her the whole night.  These days, Miranda never fails to leave us awe-struck with her on-point style picks, but last nightthe Angel proved to look especially stunning while rocking a hot berry red Zuhair Murand gown.  Like Heidi and Rosie, Miranda wasn’t afraid to show off her long legs in a revealing slit, even taking the sex appeal one step further with very dramatic deep v-neck cut and decadent jewel-encrusted drop earrings.  We think even Marilyn Monroe herself would have been impressed by this bombshell look!

But that’s not all!  As an added surprise, new Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin was also on hand for the festivities, and let it be known that this newcomer is the one to watch this year!  Dressed in a sweet blush pink frock from Chanel’s Spring 2013 collection, Barbara proved her style worth as she looked sophisticated and adorable all at once. The stream of ruffles, delicate print design and glimmering silver belt added just the right amount of free-spirited fun to the model’s lovely look, and we for one couldn’t get enough.  Bravo ladies!
